Flexico® Bags at a Glance: Zip Bags Made of PE-LD
Flexico® is Semadeni's product line of resealable zip bags – also known on the market as Minigrip® bags, zip bags or minigrip bags. All bags are made of low-density polyethylene (PE-LD), are transparent or black, food-safe and available in film thicknesses of 50, 60, 80 and 100 µm. The range covers standard sizes for laboratory, industry and workshop.
Minigrip® Bags with Writing Panel and Euro Hole
Minigrip® bags with a writing panel allow the contents, batch or date to be noted directly with a ballpoint pen or felt-tip pen – ideal for sampling, quality control and food storage. The version with a euro hole can be presented on hook strips and sales displays and is available in the range in 60 µm thickness. Both versions are made of PE-LD and designed for professional use in industry, laboratory and retail.
Special Versions: antistatic, black with UV protection, bio-based and MicroSnap
Antistatic Minigrip® bags in 80 µm thickness protect electronic components, printed circuit boards and ESD-sensitive small parts from static charge. Black zip bags with UV protection are suitable for light-sensitive substances, reagents and photoactive samples. Bio-based Minigrip® bags made of renewable PE-LD reduce the fossil material content while delivering the same performance in use. MicroSnap bags complement the line for very small sample quantities and micro components in the laboratory.
Choosing the Film Thickness: 50, 60, 80 or 100 µm
The film thickness determines the load capacity, tear resistance and reusability of the zip bags. 50 µm and 60 µm are the standard choice for light small parts, screws, powders and short-term storage. 80 µm is suitable for sharp-edged parts, frequent opening and antistatic applications in electronics manufacturing. 100 µm offers the highest stability for heavy contents, long-term storage and shipping. For food contact, the transparent PE-LD variants without additives are recommended.

Flexico® bags and Minigrip® zip bags are widely used in everyday Swiss B2B operations. In the laboratory they are used for sampling, aliquoting and storing solids and powders. In industry and workshops they secure small parts, screws, spare parts and tool accessories. In food production, the food-safe variants are suitable for portioning and interim storage. For ESD-sensitive components in electronics, antistatic 80-µm versions are available.
Accessories and Complementary Packaging Solutions
To complement Flexico® and Minigrip® zip bags, Semadeni offers matching stoppers, closures and accessories for sample containers as well as sample vessels and bags for analytical sampling in the laboratory.
