Black collecting basins for shelves in laboratories and workshops.

Safety collecting basins are required wherever substances hazardous to water are used, stored or transported. The basin is a safety measure to prevent the release of liquids escaping on an unplanned basis into the soil or into the groundwater. With a collecting basin, in addition to protecting the environment and one’s own hall floor, one also protects the employees, for whom escaped liquids could quickly become a hazard. The advantages of a plastic basin lie, for example, in the low tare weight and the simple handling. These collecting basins are thermoformed in one piece and thus have no welded seams at all, which can be or become leaky. The basins offer high resistance for the majority of all acids and alkalis, lubricants and oils.

Directions regarding the required collection volume:
A collecting basin must be able to take in 10% of the stored liquid quantity, but at least the quantity of the largest container.
