Over 30% of material used in raw materials manufacturing is renewable hydrocarbons instead of fossil fuels (crude oil). These primarily come from chemical recycling of waste products, such as cooking oil waste or residue from vegetable oil production. The raw material has the same chemical and thermal properties as conventional, purely oil-based LDPE, and is of food quality.
The bottles can be reused, and at the end of their life, can be disposed of through typical recycling processes like convention LDPE bottles.
